## From Backflips to Big Data

Hi, I'm David! My journey has been anything but ordinary, taking me from the stages of international theme parks to the world of big data and automation.
For the first part of my “career”, my office was a gymnastics mat and then later on parade route. As a professional acrobat and performer, I had the incredible opportunity to live and work around the globe, with long-term stints in Singapore, Hong Kong (performing at Hong Kong Disneyland!), and across the United States.

I also spent years as a gymnastics and cheerleading coach, a role I was deeply passionate about. It was a privilege to work with athletes at every level, and I was even fortunate along side some Olympians.

So, how does an acrobat end up in data analytics? It turns out I have a deep love for challenges and a slight addiction to learning—which led me to pursue two completely different Master's degrees: one in Teaching English (TESOL) and a more recent one in Data Analytics.
Today, I channel that same focus and discipline into a different kind of performance: solving puzzles with data. I love finding creative ways to automate tasks and tinkering with complex systems.
Odd funny part of my life is my accidental claim to fame as a stock photo model. Years ago, I did a few photoshoots, and my face has been randomly popping up on websites and advertisements ever since. So if you think you've seen me somewhere before, you probably have.

These days, life is a bit simpler. When I’m not untangling data or automating my life, I’m usually just relaxing at home with my girlfriend and our two cats...though I'm always open to add more pets (cats) to the family (mwahaha).
